Don't Miss!
Ben Cove's bold, comic-book panels kick against gallery etiquette by leaning "casually, if precariously" against the wall. The swathes of bright background colour are applied; then the canvas (this one, right' is 7ft high) is uprighted, and Cove paints the foreground as far up as he can reach, anchoring the image to the floor in direct relation to the viewer.
